Goa govt launches eleven-temple darshan circuit with 50% concession for senior citizens
PANAJI: (Aug 25) The Ekadasha Teertha Yatra initiative of the Goa government has been formally rolled out, with 27 women visiting four prominent temples in a single day as part of an organised spiritual and cultural tourism experience, officials said on Tuesday.
Under the initiative, the state Tourism Department offers a 50 per cent concession to senior citizens participating in the curated 11-temple circuit.
The tour was flagged off on Monday from the Shree Mahadev Temple at Tambdi Surla (Kushwati District). It covered Shree Devkikrishna Devasthan at Marcel, Shree Mahaganapati Devasthan at Khandola and Shree Anant Devasthan at Savoi-Verem (all in North Goa).
