Contraband worth Rs 3.75 crore seized, 12 held in four narcotics cases in outernorth Delhi

NEW DELHI: (Aug 21) The police have seized narcotics worth around Rs 3.75 crore and arrested 12 alleged drug peddlers in four separate operations across outernorth Delhi, an official said on Friday.

During the operations, police seized 882 grams of heroin, 514 grams of adulterant powder and 18.90 kg of hydroponic weed, he said.

In the first instance, three alleged drug peddlers — Sheikh Farid alias Danish, Waseem Khan and Noor Salim alias Shekh Mursaleem — were arrested in a case registered at Bhalswa Dairy police station on August 4.
