From Vande Mataram to Tiranga: CM Leads HarGhar Tiranga Celebrations in Sankhali
Bicholim: As part of the nationwide HarGharTiranga campaign, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant hoisted the National Flag at his residence in Sankhali on Thursday. The ceremony was held to commemorate two major national milestones — the 150th Anniversary of _Vande Mataram_ and the 80th Independence Day of India.
Addressing those present, Dr. Sawant said Vande Mataram has been the soul of India’s freedom struggle for 150 years and continues to inspire generations. He added that hoisting the Tiranga in every home is a tribute to the freedom fighters and a reaffirmation of national unity.“HarGharTiranga is a call to every Goan and every Indian to bring the flag home and celebrate our identity,” the CM said. Party workers,and government officials joined the Chief Minister during the flag hoisting.
