Goa Hosts International Workshop on Empowering Marginalized Sections Through Democracy
Panaji: The office of the Chief Electoral officer, Goa in collaboration with Goa University, V. M. Salgaonkar College of Law, IPHB Goa, Election Commission of India in association with Centre for Political Leadership, India Institute of Democracy & Election Management (IIIDEM), International Institute for Democracy & Electoral Assistance (IDEA) has organized a one day International Workshop on “Democracy for the Empowerment of Marginalized Sections of the Society” at Kar Bhavan Altinho, on Frdiay .
The Workshop was inaugurated by Padma Shri & Arjuna Awardee & Former Chairman, GFDC, Shri. Brahmanand Sankhwalkar. Chief Electoral Officer, Goa, Dr. Sanjay Goel, IAS, Assistant Chief Electoral Officer, Smt. Sapna S.N.Bandodkar, Former Director, IIAS Shimla Eminent Political Scientist, Prof. Peter R De Souza, Associate Prof. IPBH Goa, Sudesh Gaude and others attended the workshop.
