Saligao Celebrates Guru Purnima With Blend Of Spirituality And Music
Saligao MLA Kedar Naik attended the Guru Purnima Utsav organised jointly by Shree Bhumika Sateri Rawalnath Temple and Siddhesh Sangeet Vidyalaya, bringing together devotion and classical music to honour teachers and tradition.
The celebration saw participation from students, teachers, and local devotees who gathered to pay tribute to gurus for their role in imparting knowledge, values and wisdom.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Naik said the event was a reflection of Goa’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage. “Our gurus have always guided society with knowledge and values. When temples and institutions like Siddhesh Sangeet Vidyalaya come together to celebrate Guru Purnima, it shows how we are preserving our traditions for future generations,” he said.The utsav featured devotional singing, classical performances by students of the music school, and prayers at the temple. Organisers said the aim was to highlight the importance of both spiritual learning and artistic education in Goan society.
