Goa Adopts 3-Year Road Map 2026-2029 to Strengthen Fight Against Narcotics: CM Sawant

Porvorim: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired the Coordination Meeting of Stakeholder Departments on the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan – 3-Year Road Map (2026–2029) to strengthen Goa’s fight against narcotics through a coordinated, whole-of-government approach at Porvorim.  The meeting was convened to strengthen Goa’s fight against narcotics and substance abuse through a coordinated, whole-of-government approach involving all key departments.

Addressing the meeting, Dr. Sawant said that achieving a Nasha Mukt Goa is a priority for the government and requires joint action from Health, Education, Police, Social Welfare, Sports, and Panchayati Raj departments. He emphasized the need for preventive measures, awareness campaigns, rehabilitation, and strict enforcement.
