Goa-IPB clears investment proposals worth Rs 622 cr, expected to create 3180 jobs: CM
PANAJI: (Jul 27) The Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (Goa-IPB) has approved investment proposals worth Rs 622 crore across multiple sectors, which are expected to generate 3,180 employment opportunities, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Monday.
He chaired the 42nd meeting of the Goa-IPB in the presence of industries minister Mauvin Godinho, Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) chairman and MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, among others.
“The Board approved a diverse portfolio of investment proposals spanning manufacturing, hospitality, education, electronics, shipbuilding and emerging technology sectors,” a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office said.
