PANAJI: (Jul 27) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Goa on Monday launched a campaign against the “forced implementation” of E20 (ethanol-blended) fuel, appealing to people in the coastal state to participate in a town hall on the issue to be held in New Delhi on August 1.

Speaking to reporters, AAP Goa president Valmiki Naik alleged that 20 per cent ethanol-blended fuel reduces mileage and damages engines without offering consumers any price relief.

He urged Goans to join the online town hall called by the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal to oppose the rollout of E20 fuel by registering on a WhatsApp number circulated by the party.
