“Prayers for Peace and Prosperity”: CM Sawant Celebrates Ashadhi Ekadashi in Sankhali
SANKHALI: On the sacred occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant offered prayers at Shri Vitthal-Rakhumai Devasthan, Vithalapur, seeking the divine blessings of Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rakhumai for the peace, prosperity and well-being of all Goans. Mayem MLA Premendra Vishnu Shet, former MLA Damu Naik and other dignitaries were also present.
The Chief Minister said festivals like Ashadhi Ekadashi reflect Goa’s deep-rooted spiritual traditions and bring people together in devotion and unity.Thousands of devotees gathered at the temple to mark the occasion with bhajans, kirtans and traditional rituals.
