Vanamahotsava 2026: Minister Vishwajit Rane Plants Sapling, Urges Students to Protect Forests
Valpoi: Forest Minister Vishwajit RANE attended and addressed the State-Level Vanamahotsava 2026 celebration organised by the Forest Department at PM SHRI School, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Valpoi. On the occasion, the Minister planted a tree sapling as part of the tree plantation programmme.
Vanamahotsava, observed annually, aims to promote awareness about forests and encourage large-scale plantation across Goa.
