Mapusa Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal Launches Annual Donation Coupon Campaign
The Mapusa Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal officially launched its annual donation coupon campaign for the upcoming Ganesh festival at a function held in Mapusa on Tuesday.
The donation coupons were inaugurated by former Mapusa Municipal Council Chairperson Dr. Nutan Bicholkar. Addressing the gathering, she lauded the Mandal for its long-standing efforts in preserving the cultural and religious traditions of Mapusa and appealed to citizens to extend their wholehearted support to the initiative.
This year, the Mandal has printed 50,000 donation coupons, each priced at ₹500. Donors purchasing the coupons will have the opportunity to win attractive prizes through a lucky draw, including five cars, five scooters, and 20 gold coins worth ₹5 lakh.
The donation coupons will be available for sale until September 25 at the Mandal’s office in the Mapusa City Market.
Mandal President Avdhut Narvekar appealed to devotees and well-wishers to generously contribute towards the initiative and help make this year’s Ganesh festival a grand success.
The launch function was attended by Mandal President Avdhut Narvekar, Treasurer Ramesh Mankar, Chief Trustee Bhai Moye, former President Pravin Ghanekar, along with trustees and committee members.
