Galgotias University Students Secure Roles Across Top Companies and Emerging Sectors: Placement Success 2026
CPDD (Career Planning and Development Division) Felicitation Ceremony at Galgotias University
New Delhi [India], July 21: When 1,250 companies show up to recruit from a single university, it says something about where employers are looking. This placement season, Galgotias University attracted recruiters from across technology, finance, consulting, and some of the fastest-growing sectors in today’s job market. Ranked 16th among private universities in India and 46th overall in the QS World University Rankings 2027 and placed among the top 27 private universities in India in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, the university’s placement outcomes this year reflect an academic model built consistently around industry engagement.
Who Hired and How Many
Recruiter participation this season was strong across both large and mid-sized employers. Infosys recruited 526 students, followed by Capgemini with 228, Cognizant with 205, City Union Bank with 188, Accenture with 91, and EY with 61. Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC together extended over 80 dream offers. Of all offers made this season, more than 550 came in above INR 6 LPA. The highest package was INR 60 LPA; the season-wide average landed at INR 5.4 LPA. On the internship side, the highest stipend reached INR 1.25 lakh per month.
What the School of Business Delivered
For students from MBA and BBA courses at the School of Business, the season closed with 100% placement.. Recruiters engaging with the School of Business this season spanned banking, technology, and consulting — with companies including PwC, S&P Global, Protiviti, Indigo, Federal Bank, BNY Mellon, Capgemini, Reliance JioBP, Amazon, Asian Paints, Ameriprise Financial, Tata Consumer Products Limited, Wipro, Delhivery and many more are actively hiring. Early recruitment for the 2026-27 batch is already underway, with Deloitte, EY, and KPMG among the first companies to engage. For students currently considering MBA admission or BBA course options, the recruiter diversity this season reflects both the breadth of the programme and the consistent demand for School of Business graduates.
The Academic Ecosystem Behind the Numbers
Placement results of this scale are closely tied to how the university structures learning. Galgotias has developed Centres of Excellence in collaboration with Intel, Apple, Cisco, Salesforce, Tata Technologies, Capgemini, and L&T EduTech. These run in parallel with live projects, mentoring programmes, and NVIDIA DGX H200-powered computing infrastructure, giving students hands-on exposure to industry-standard tools well before graduation. Students who joined B.Tech programmes this year in Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Data Science stepped into this environment from day one, not as a finishing-year add-on.
That depth of integration is what eventually shows up in placement figures. For the graduating Class of 2026, Galgotias University secured more than 5,500 offers from over 1,250 recruiters, built on years of consistent investment in how students learn, not just where they get placed.
Commenting on the placement outcomes, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO, Galgotias University, said: “5,500 placements in a single year signal something clear — our curriculum works because it is built with industry at the table. The trust that leading employers continue to place in our students reflects the strength of our industry partnerships, practical learning approach, and commitment to preparing graduates who are ready to contribute from day one. The trust that recruiters continue to place in our students is the strongest validation of this approach.”
Beyond Placements
Jobs were not the only exit this batch took. On campus, 135+ student-founded startups have come out of the university’s incubation ecosystem, spanning technology, AI, digital services, and applied engineering. Separately, students have shipped 75+ applications to the Apple App Store, and 18 were named among the global winners of the Apple Swift Student Challenge 2026, more than any other private university in India. For a section of the batch, the placement season ran alongside product launches and funding conversations, not instead of them.
The university is currently accepting applications for the 2026-27 academic year across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Programme details, eligibility criteria, and scholarship information are available at galgotiasuniversity.edu.in
