CHICALIM: Panchayat Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho attended and addressed a Special Awareness Camp on the Goa Government’s Mhaje Ghar Scheme, organized by the Village Panchayat, Chicalim at the Panchayat Ghar on Tuesday.
The camp aimed to inform villagers about the benefits and application process of the Mhaje Ghar Yojana, a flagship housing scheme of the state government focused on providing affordable housing to eligible Goans.During the event, the Minister distributed sanads to beneficiaries under the scheme, marking an important step towards securing land titles and housing rights for families in the area.
Addressing the gathering, Godinho said the Mhaje Ghar Scheme reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring that every Goan has a safe and secure home. He urged panchayat members and officials to spread awareness at the grassroots and ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out.Sarpanch and panchayat members of Chicalim were present along with government officials and local residents.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, calling the distribution of sanads a “dream come true” for many families. The Minister assured that more such camps will be held across constituencies to accelerate implementation of the scheme.
