Saligao Foxes 5-A-Side Tournament Draws Record Teams to Nagoa Futsal Arena
Saligao: Football fever returned to North Goa as the Saligao Foxes successfully hosted the All Goa 5-A-Side Football Tournament at Nagao Futsal Arena, featuring 24 teams from across Goa .
The tournament was inaugurated by MLA kedar Naik as Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the organisers for promoting the fast-paced 5-a-side format. “Futsal is growing rapidly in Goa and events like this give our youth the right space to showcase skill and fitness. I am proud to see community groups like Saligao Foxes leading the way,” Naik said He said the government remains committed to supporting grassroots sports and called for more such tournaments to keep youth engaged. The Chief Guest congratulated all teams and organisers for making the event a grand success.
