Man wanted in Amritsar murder case held in Goa
PANAJI: July 12 A 24-year-old man wanted in a case of murder and illegal possession of arms registered in Punjab has been arrested in North Goa, a local police official said on Sunday.
The accused, identified as Diljeet Singh alias Rahul, who hails from Amritsar, was apprehended by Mandrem Police during patrolling on Saturday when they spotted him moving suspiciously near a temple.
When questioned about his presence in the area, he allegedly failed to provide a satisfactory explanation, prompting the police to detain him for further inquiry, police said
