Calangute MLA, sarpanchs urge immediate and long-term measures to improve waste processing at GTDC plant

Calangute MLA Michael lobo  met  Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant along with GTDC Chairperson and Saligao MLA Kedar Naik, Calangute Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira and Candolim Sarpanch Blaize Fernandes to discuss the persistent foul odour from the Saligao Garbage Treatment Plant and the inconvenience it has been causing residents of Calangute, Candolim, Saligao and nearby areas.

“We urged for immediate and long-term measures to eliminate the problem, improve waste processing, and ensure a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone. Together, we remain committed to finding a lasting solution for our people” said MLA Lobo
