Monsoon Alert: Mapusa MLA Reviews Cunchelim Drainage, Flags Blockage for Urgent Clearing
Mapusa MLA Joshua Dsouza Reviewed the drainage situation in Cunchelim following the ongoing monsoon rains to assess the present condition of water flow and the functioning of the drainage network in the area. The visit was undertaken to ensure that existing drainage systems continue to function smoothly during the rainy season and that any obstructions affecting the flow of water are addressed without delay.
It was observed that mud accumulation in one stretch of the drain was affecting the smooth flow of water. Immediate instructions have been issued to the MMC section to clear the blockage and ensure proper drainage flow in the area.
