Mapusa Residency to Get New Look: CM Sawant Launches Redevelopment Project
MAPUSA – Mapusa MLA Joshua Dsouza aid the foundation stone for the redevelopment, operations, and maintenance of the Mapusa Residency under the PPP mode, a landmark initiative that will strengthen Goa’s tourism infrastructure, enhance visitor experience, and contribute to the continued development of Mapusa.


More than just a hotel redevelopment, the project will transform the existing property into a modern, multi-purpose tourism and commercial hub featuring hotel accommodation, commercial spaces, banquet halls, recreational facilities, a restaurant, café, and basement parking. This integrated development will support local businesses, generate employment opportunities, improve public amenities, and further strengthen North Goa’s tourism ecosystem. The initiative reflects the Government’s commitment to modernising tourism infrastructure, creating high-quality public facilities, and fostering sustainable economic growth while enhancing the overall experience for residents and visitors alike”
