Calangute – Arrais Mendes Nagoa opened their Santamaria Cup 2.0 campaign with a 3-1 win over local rivals Naika Vaddo, Calangute in a competitive Match .Both halves saw end-to-end action as the teams matched each other for possession and chances. Naika Vaddo’s Runal got on the scoresheet for the Calangute side, while Nagoa’s Arrais Mendes Vaddo responded with goals from Rujal, Bhavesh and Soham to complete the 3-1 victory.
The match also saw disciplinary action, with Naika Vaddo’s Rolex receiving a yellow card and Prajot being sent off with a red card.
