North Goa Admin Reviews NEET Preparedness; DM Ankit Yadav Directs Strict Compliance with NTA Guidelines

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Collectors, Mamlatdars, representatives from the NTA, Centre Supervisors and line departments including Police, Education, Higher education, Health, KTCL, Electricity Department, IT department and officials associated with the examination process. During the meeting, a detailed review of the preparedness of all examination centres was undertaken. The District Magistrate directed that all centres ensure adequate infrastructure, including uninterrupted power supply, CCTV surveillance, drinking water facilities, sanitation arrangements, and proper seating arrangements for candidates. The status of security measures, including deployment of police personnel, secure handling of confidential examination materials, frisking protocols, biometric verification, and prevention of unfair means, was also reviewed. Special emphasis was laid on ensuring a hassle-free experience for candidates. Directions were issued for proper traffic management around examination centres and facilitation of candidates with disabilities and special needs. KTCL was instructed to arrange for special buses for the candidates and give advance publicity regarding the same. The Health Department was instructed to make provision for medical teams and ambulances at all the exam centres. The District Magistrate stressed the importance of strict adherence to the guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). All departments were directed to maintain close coordination and ensure that examination-related duties are carried out with utmost diligence and professionalism.
