New committees notified for grading hotels, guest houses and homestays in Goa
Panaji: June 15 – The Goa government has constituted new committees for the classification and re-classification of hotels, guest houses, homestays and Bed & Breakfast (B&B) establishments across the state. The move aims to streamline the categorisation of tourism accommodation units under various prescribed categories. According to a notification issued by the Department of Tourism, a state-level committee headed by the Director of Tourism will oversee the classification and re-classification of ‘A’ category hotels across Goa.
