Dog Rescued from Well at Carona Aldona by Mapusa Fire & Emergency Services
Aldona: A quick response by Mapusa Fire & Emergency Services saved a dog that had fallen into a well near Dona Washing Centre at Carona Aldona on Tuesday morning. The incident was reported at 11:35 HRS. Firefighters from the Mapusa station, led by Leading Firefighter Shri Prashant Shetgaonkar, rushed to the spot. Using rescue equipment and safety gear, the team carefully lowered themselves into the well and secured the animal before bringing it safely to the surface.The dog was unharmed and handed over to locals after the rescue operation. Fire officials said timely reporting by passersby helped prevent any mishap. The department urged citizens to immediately inform emergency services in case of such incidents.
