Mapusa MLA Attends Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference in Chandigarh, Stresses Role of Legislators in Viksit Bharat 2047
Mapusa MLA Attended the 2nd Commonwealth Parliamentary Association India Region Zone-II Conference held at the Haryana Legislative Assembly, Chandigarh. Over the course of the conference, meaningful deliberations were held on enhancing legislative effectiveness, promoting good governance, sharing best parliamentary practices, and advancing the collective vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The conference featured discussions on a range of contemporary issues, including the role of legislators in nation-building under Viksit Bharat 2047, the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence, and measures to further strengthen the effectiveness of democratic institutions. A special documentary showcasing the history and development of Haryana was also screened during the event.

“Had the opportunity to interact with distinguished dignitaries, fellow legislators, and parliamentary representatives from across the country, and exchange perspectives on governance, legislative functioning, and public policy. Also had the opportunity to share thoughts during a discussion on the theme “Role of an Aware Society and Legislators in Realizing Future Challenges and Goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.” said Mapusa MLA Joshua dsouza
besides Mapusa MLA also Present were Speaker of Lok Sabha Om Birla, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh Narayan Singh Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana . Nayab Singh Saini Hon’ble Speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly Harvinder Kalyan Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mahipal Dhanda along with Speakers, Deputy Speakers, and parliamentary representatives from various states across India.
