Mapusa: The Crime Branch forensic team began a detailed fingerprint investigation at the residence of a youth who was found dead following a viral social media video incident, police said.Mapusa Police, accompanied by forensic experts, visited the house and conducted a preliminary examination of the spot. The team collected physical evidence, including fingerprint samples and other material, as part of the ongoing inquiry.The case stems from an earlier confrontation involving the youth, who was allegedly filmed throwing garbage on a public road. The video of the incident spread widely across social media platforms and drew public attention.Following the incident and the youth’s death, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant directed authorities to carry out a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter .Police said the forensic analysis, along with statements from witnesses and technical evidence, will help establish the sequence of events leading up to the death.
