Goa forward party ‘only alternative’ to protect Goa’s interests, claims Vijai Sardesai
PANAJI: (May 25) Goa Forward Party (GFP) president Vijai Sardesai on Monday claimed his outfit is the “only alternative” to safeguard the state’s rights and interests, as he launched a statewide membership drive and urged youth to join the organisation.
The Goa assembly polls are due next year. In the 40-member state assembly, the Opposition GFP holds one seat- Fatorda, represented by former deputy chief minister Sardesai.
Addressing a gathering in Margao, Sardesai questioned the current state of governance and claimed that many educated youth were struggling to find jobs.
