Calangute: With monsoon season around the corner locals have warned of a serious safety hazard near Don Bosco School, Calangute, where internet cables are hanging low and lying unattended on roadside. The stretch is used daily by hundreds of school children and sees heavy tourist footfall. A local said water-logging and strong winds could bring the dangling wires down, risking electrocution or road accidents. locals have urged the Electricity Department and internet service providers to act immediately, adding that “the monsoon leaves no room for delay when children’s safety is involved
