Bhati Lobo Lions Clinch Parra Panchayat Cup with 2-0 Win Over Aradi Gama
Calangute: Bhati Lobo Lions registered a convincing 2-0 win over B Aradi Gama United to clinch the Parra Panchayat Cup organized by Village Panchayat of Parra played at Parra ground here on Sunday.
Both the goals came in the second half where Shuban getting hold off a through pass from Daniel Lobo placed it into the far corner of the goal while Billu drilled a stiff grounder past the rival goalkeeper for the second goal.
In the first session Aradi’s Zuben’s header and Morgan strike was saved by goalkeeper Manthan.
In the closing stages of the match Bhati Lobo Lions had another glorious chance to net their third goal but a strong header from Daniel Lobo off Diwakar cross came off the far goal post.
Bhati Lobo Lions received Winners cash prize of Rs.30000 plus trophy while B.Aradi Gama United had to be content with Runner’s up cash prize of Rs.20000 plus trophy.
Yester years players of Parra players were felicitated by Mr. Michael Lobo-MLA Calangute Constituency in the presence of PVC Comitteee members and Village Panchayat members.
Britto Warriors received fouth place trophy while
