Congress, Youth Wing Back Karapur Protest Against Lodha Group Project; Cite Environmental Concerns
Senior Congress leaders and Youth Congress members on sunday joined villagers at Karapur in a peaceful protest opposing the proposed mega project by the Lodha Group, expressing strong solidarity with local residents and their concerns over environmental degradation, displacement, and loss of traditional livelihoods.
Among those present were Girish Chodankar, CWC Member and AICC In-charge for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry; Archit Naik, President of Goa Pradesh Youth Congress; Pradip Naik, General Secretary; senior Congress leader Samil Volvoikar; Mahesh Mhambrey; District President Mangaldas Naik; along with Manoj Naik, Syden, Shrirang Parab, and several other Congress workers.
