Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrated in Mapusa

Mapusa: Shabdsharda Parivar & All Goa Digital Journalist Association celebrated Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti with great enthusiasm at Mapusa. The event witnessed the presence of several eminent personalities from across Goa. Mapusa Muncipality councillor & Ex Chairperson Sudhir R. Kandolkar attended the function as the Chief Guest, while noted Teacher Namdev Naik delivered the keynote address.

Guest of Honour was MMC Councillor & Ex Chairperson Dr. Nutan Bicholkar,. The program also honoured several distinguished individuals for their contributions in various fields, including Vinayak Nagvekar, Mahesh Chavan, Raj Sharma, Subhash Redkar, Vaishnavi S. Ugadekar, Gopaldas Arlekar, Prasanna Salkar and Lokesh FS. Speakers highlighted the life, vision and contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, emphasizing his role in shaping the Indian Constitution and advocating for social justice and equality. The event concluded on a note of unity and inspiration, with organizers reaffirming their commitment to uphold Ambedkar’s ideals in society.
