RG Hospitals Goa Completes 1.5 Lakh+ Dialysis Sessions, Celebrates it with ‘Dil Se Fighter’ Initiative

Goa, April 13 2026: RG Hospitals, Goa has reached a major milestone in its kidney care journey, successfully completing over 1.5 lakh dialysis sessions. This achievement underscores the hospital’s long-standing commitment to providing consistent, high-quality, and compassionate care to patients battling chronic kidney disease.

Known for its clinical excellence, RG Hospitals Goa has built strong trust among patients and families across the state. The 1.5 lakh+ sessions represent years of dedicated service by its nephrology team, ensuring patients receive safe, uninterrupted dialysis support.

To commemorate this milestone, the hospital organised ‘Dil Se Fighter’ – A Kidney Care Initiative on 11th April 2026. The event was dedicated to honouring the resilience of patients and the tireless efforts of the clinical staff who stand by them.

During the program, more than 80 patients were felicitated as part of a special Patient Support & Felicitation Program. The contributions of doctors, nurses, and dialysis technicians were also recognised through a 1.5 Lakh Milestone Wall, with certificates and momentos presented to the team.

Adding a personal touch to the event, four kidney transplant recipients took the stage to share their journeys before and after transplant. Their stories highlighted the challenges, hope, and transformation that kidney care brings. The initiative also included health talks by Dr. Shital Lengade, Sr. Consultant – Nephrology, and Dr. Sindhu Arjun, Consultant – Nephrology, who spoke on kidney health, prevention, and long-term management. As a token of appreciation, souvenirs were distributed to all attendees.
