Fate Sealed, 270 Polling Personnel Gear Up for Ponda bye
Ponda: In view of the forthcoming Bye-Election to the 21-Ponda Assembly Constituency, the third randomization of polling personnel was conducted under the supervision of Ms.Egna Cleetus, IAS, Collector & District Election Officer, South Goa, in the presence of Ms.Pooja Parth, IAS, General Observer, ensuring complete transparency in the election process.
Following the process, the finalized list of polling personnel mapped to respective polling booths was generated via randomisation software and duly sealed, and formal deployment orders will be issued accordingly.
A total of 45 polling booths have been set up across the constituency and 54 teams of polling staff have been constituted. As many as 270 polling personnel will report tomorrow to the Returning Officer, from where EVMs will be dispatched to the respective polling booths with due care and all prescribed precautions.
