Mapusa: The Mapusa Sessions Court acquitted Minesh Kalangutkar, Vikas Govekar, Gautam Simepuruskar, and Vivekanand Kalangutkar in a 2011 Baga Beach attempt-to-murder case. Defended by Adv. Vinayak D. Porob, the accused were cleared after the court cited glaring investigative lapses, unreliable witnesses, and a lack of forensic evidence, ruling that the prosecution failed to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.
