“Mapusa Bypass Road Project Paves Way for Smoother Journeys to Calangute”

The bypass road connecting MDR-8 (near Gandhi Circle) to Sathyahera will extend up to Green Park Road, Mapusa, offering big relief to people travelling from Mapusa to Calangute.”*
This ₹1.5 crore initiative – spanning 0.150 km with a 12-metre wide road and pedestrian-friendly footpaths is set to slash travel times, curb accidents, and transform the travel experience.
Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza inaugurated the works, extending heartfelt thanks to PWD Minister Digambar Kamat for his backing. He also lauded Farmer Dnyaneshwar Korgaonkar’s generosity in donating land for this vital project and appreciated the Mapusa Comunidade’s support under President Salvador Pinto.
