Grand Awards Distribution Ceremony by ‘Sanskruti Samvardhan Pratishthan’ Concluded at Pernem*
Pernem: A magnificent awards distribution ceremony, organized by the ‘Sanskruti Samvardhan Pratishthan’ was held with great pomp at the Pernem Bhagwati High School. With the objective of fostering an awareness of Indian culture and promoting moral values among students, the Pratishthan conducts an annual written examination for students in grades 4 through 8. This examination is based on the *Ramayana*, the *Mahabharata*, the biographies of saints, and the stories of freedom fighters. This year, a staggering 3,000 students from 58 different schools participated in this examination. Of these participants, 300 students achieved success, with 122 students winning gold medals. The remaining successful students were honored with certificates. The ceremony, organized to felicitate these successful students, witnessed a large turnout of attendees.
The event was graced by the presence of Education Officer Mr. Manoj Savaikar, social activist Dr. Sanjay Korgaonkar, senior Pratishthan activist Mr. Gopal Gurav Guruji, Goa Division President Mr. Santosh Naik, Co-organizer Mr. Gaurav Kulkarni, Vishwa Hindu Parishad District President Mr. Pramodbhai Sangodkar, Organizer Mr. Bharat Betkekar, North Goa Coordinator Mrs. Kusumtai Salkar, and *Matrushakti* Coordinators Mrs. Krantitai Shetye and Mrs. Sandhyatai Parab, along with numerous teachers, parents, and dignitaries.
During the program, the dignitaries lauded the students for their achievements and extended their best wishes for a bright future. The ceremony concluded on a grande note, witnessed by an audience of approximately 300 people. The event drew to a close with a final round of congratulations extended to all the award-winning students.
