KHAUNTE REVIEWS PENDING CASES IN MAPUSA
Mapusa: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte on Monday paid a surprise visit to the Deputy Collector’s office in Mapusa, reviewing pending cases related to mundkar, tenancy, and house regularisation from Porvorim. He directed officials to expedite the process, resolving several cases on the spot, and assured citizens of timely justice.
During his visit, Khaunte interacted with locals, listening to their grievances and taking swift action.
“I am committed to ensuring that no case is left pending for long,” he said, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability. Officials were instructed to submit a detailed report on pending cases within a week.
The Minister’s visit brought relief to dozens of residents who had been waiting for resolution. “It’s a big relief for us. The Minister listened to our problems and resolved them on the spot,” said a beneficiary.
