Margao: Collector & District Election Officer, South Goa, Ms.Egna Cleetus, IAS, convened a meeting of the Election Expenditure Monitoring Team along with representatives of various enforcement agencies at Mathany Saldanha Administrative Complex,Margao.
Officers from the Income Tax Department, DYSP, SDPO-Ponda, Customs, Excise, Lead Bank, and Fire officer were also present.
Instructions were issued to enforcement agencies to closely monitor and report any suspicious or illegal transactions to ensure the smooth conduct of the Bye-Election to 21 Ponda Assembly Constituency, scheduled to be held on 09 April 2026.
