South Goa collector chairs meeting with officers for Ponda Assembly bye-election
Margao: Collector & District Election Officer, South Goa, Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS chaired a meeting with the Nodal Officers and Liaison Officers for the Bye-Election to 21 Ponda Assembly Constituency at Mathany Saldanha Administrative Complex, Margao.
The meeting reviewed election preparedness with emphasis on randomization of polling personnel, inter-departmental coordination, logistics and adherence to Election Commission guidelines to ensure smooth conduct of the electoral process.
The Bye‑Election to 21 Ponda Assembly Constituency is scheduled to be held on 09 April 2026.
