ECI to be consulted on continuation of Goa budget session: CM Sawant on bypoll announcement

PANAJI: (Mar 16) Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday said the continuation of Goa’s budget session will depend on the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) opinion, following the announcement of a bypoll for an assembly seat in South Goa district.

The coastal state’s budget session began on March 6 at the Vidhan Sabha located in Porvorim, North Goa, and is scheduled to conclude on March 27.
