Swayampurna Goa SARAS 2026 Concludes with Focus on Rural Empowerment
Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant graced the closing ceremony of Swayampurna Goa SARAS 2026, organised by Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission, at Dayanand Bandodkar Football Ground, Campal, Panaji.
The event showcased the state’s progress in rural development, with initiatives like Swayampurna Goa benefiting over 3 lakh persons.
Sawant highlighted Goa’s achievements in rural economy, including a 4,800% growth in Total Community Investment Fund disbursement and 445% increase in Revolving Fund amount disbursed. The event emphasized self-reliance, skill development, and sustainable agriculture practices ¹ ².
