Professional squash player Yash Fadte to host ‘From Goa to the World: Squashing it!’ at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, Miramar
Panaji, March 2026: Professional squash player and four-time Asian junior medallist Yash Fadte will deliver a talk titled ‘From Goa to the World: Squashing it!’ — an interactive and much-awaited presentation — as part of the ongoing centenary celebrations at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias.
Fadte, who is currently based in Barcelona, is training at the Barcelona Global Squash, one of Europe’s leading squash academies, with the aim of participating in the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028 when squash makes its debut at the sporting spectacle. As a junior, Fadte has won several national and international championships, including the US Open and French Open and won medals—four times in a row—at the Asian Championships. Fadte graduated from the University of Rochester, US, where he won the 2025 Skillman Award for his excellence in squash. Fadte, at the interactive session, will speak about his inspiring journey, how he has overcome challenges as a professional squash player and his love for the sport.
