“Power Woes Addressed in Productive Meeting with Officials at Calangute”
Calangute: Residents of Wards 9 & 10 in Khobravaddo, Calangute, voiced their grievances regarding electricity bills and penalties on commercial connections at a meeting held at Shantadurga Mandap. The gathering, attended by officials from the Electricity Department, police, and traffic representatives, saw concerns being addressed and solutions discussed.
Assistant Engineer Savio Fernandes and Junior Engineer Shoharat Shaikh were among the officials who engaged with residents, tackling issues like the recent three-month billing cycle. Police Inspector Laxi Amonkar and Traffic Inspector Brendan De Souza also participated, addressing related concerns.
