“Kushavati District Gets Boost: Top Officials Push for Impactful DMF Projects”
Margao: Collector, South Goa and H/c Kushavati District, Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS,along with Member Secretary, DMF Shri Abhir Hede and Shri Velton Tellis, Deputy Collector, South–I, H/c Kushavati Districts chaired the Kushavati District Mineral Foundation Managing Committee meeting at Mathany Saldanha Administrative Complex, Margao.
During the meeting, various matters pertaining to the effective utilisation of District Mineral Foundation (DMF) funds were discussed. The Committee reviewed ongoing developmental initiatives and emphasised the need to prioritise projects aimed at improving healthcare, education, drinking water facilities, and infrastructure in mining-affected areas.
Proposals submitted by different departments were examined in accordance with the guidelines of the District Mineral Foundation.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from various Government departments
