Mapusa, Goa – Two separate fires broke out in North Goa on Saturday testing the mettle of local fire services. A garbage fire erupted near a yard in Mapusa at 12:26 hrs, prompting a swift response from the fire team.
Hours later, a dry grass fire threatened to spread near the football ground in Anjuna at 13:44 hrs. Mapusa fire services, conveyed to Prashant Shetgaonkar LFF, acted quickly to contain the blaze.
