CM Pramod Sawant Warns of Strict Action Against Protesters Who Threatened Minister’s Family:

PANAJI: Those who hurled bad words, gave death threats and gherao the minister’s house will not be spared instead strict action will be initiated against them, thundered the chief minister. The chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant was alighted from the Bharatiya Janata Party Legislature wing meet and said it was decided that the protestors can go ahead with the protests but it should be within the limits, they had crossed the limits, revealed the chief minister.after the meeting.
Speaking to the reporters, the chief minister, Dr Pramod Sawant stated in the strongly worded message, that holding the protest is welcomed but it should be within the limits, hurling bad words and threatening with dire consequences and gherao Mr Vishwajit Ran’s house is completely wrong. They have taken law and order into their hands, and in a few days strict action will be taken against them. Is it justified to remain in the government office all night,after 6pm? He asked if the office is closed but we respect women who were there that night and say forget. Now there is a complaint that some office files are missing and from where should we bring the missing files. The lady officer in the TCP office complained that she was abused with filthy words and she came to realise that some files are missing and she has lodged a complaint today,” said CM.

Any one is free to do andolan but it should be outside the office or could have come to the Azad Maidan but they threatened the staff saying they will remain in the office on Saturday and Sunday. The way they were trying to intensify the andolan will not work but every time by taking protection of religion and caste will not work as every one is a Goan here,” he concluded.
