Kushavati District Takes Giant Leap in Forest Rights

Sanguem: The District Level Committee (DLC) of Kushavati District, presided over by Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS, Collector, convened to take up the claims forwarded by the Sub-Divisional Level Committees of Quepem and Sanguem Talukas under the provisions of the Forest Rights Act, 2006.

During the meeting, the Committee examined 43 claims received from Cazur village in Quepem Taluka and 19 claims pertaining to the villages of Rivona, Villiana, and Bhati in Sanguem Taluka.
