Griha Aadhar Scheme Gets a Boost: CM Sawant Flags Off Special Camp in Ponda
Ponda, Feb 24: In a significant move to empower women and promote welfare, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Tuesday inaugurated a Special Camp for Griha Aadhar Scheme beneficiaries at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda. The event, organized by the Directorate of Women & Child Development, aimed to bring essential services and benefits directly to the doorstep of Ponda’s residents.

With WRD Minister Subhash Shirodkar, Ponda Municipal Chairperson Virendra Dhavalikar, and other dignitaries in attendance, the camp is expected to provide a major fillip to the scheme’s reach and impact. The Griha Aadhar Scheme, a flagship initiative of the government, has been lauded for its focus on women’s empowerment and social security.
