FIRE TEAM RUSHES TO RESCUE CAR TANGLED IN FALLEN TREE AT ASSAGAON
Mapusa, Feb 24: A sudden incident occurred in Assagaon near Jugnu Restaurant early on tuesday at 1:13 am when a tree fell on the compound wall and a parked car. The Mapusa Fire Station team, led by Firefighter Prashant Shetgaonkar, promptly responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported, but the car suffered significant damage. The cause of the tree fall is being investigated.
Meanwhile another daring rescue operation was carried out by the Mapusa Fire Station team, led by Firefighter Omkar Karbotkar, at 9:38 am on Tuesday . A cat had fallen into a well behind Satya Hira, near Keni Niwas, Keni Wado.
The fire team swiftly responded to the distress call and rescued the cat safely. The feline is now safe and sound, thanks to the prompt action of the fire department.
