This initiative is simply our way of saying thank you and making sure the stadium feels like a space where every woman and girl in Goa feels welcome, comfortable, and celebrated. We hope this match becomes more than just a game a shared evening where families come together, young girls see themselves as part of football’s future, and Fatorda reflects the inclusive spirit that football in Goa truly stands for.”

The February 26th fixture will feature a complete takeover of matchday activities dedicated to women and girls, including:

This special matchday is a natural extension of FC Goa’s long-standing commitment to the growth of women’s football in the state. The club takes pride in its foundational efforts to champion the women’s game, from its history of fielding the FC Goa Women’s Team to sparking grassroots passion among young female players through past initiatives like the Little Gaurs League.
Today, that dedication to grassroots development continues actively through FC Goa Football Schools, which proudly trains young girls across multiple age groups and skill levels. Furthermore, the club is actively nurturing competitive local talent by training an U14 girls team in partnership with St.Dominic Savio SC Calvin for the GFA U14 Women’s League, ensuring the future of the sport remains inclusive and bright.
Further details regarding the free entry for girls and women for the February 26th match will be shared across the club’s official social media channels in the coming week.
