Goa Govt Boosts Security with 48 New Bikes for Coastal Patrols, MLA Michael Lobo Says Police Verification Drive On

Panaji: Calangute MLA Michael Lobo revealed that the Goa government has approved the purchase of 48 bikes to enhance police patrolling in coastal areas and other parts of the state. Speaking to the media, Lobo said the bikes are expected to arrive soon, bolstering law enforcement efforts.

Lobo also urged local Panchayat members and police to conduct drives for police verification cards, especially for new residents. “The more cards we issue, the better we’ll know who’s who, their origins, and nationality,” he emphasized. This initiative aims to improve security and curb potential threats.
