“South Goa Collector Reviews 57 Forest Claims in Ponda, Paves Way for Community Rights”
Ponda: Collector, South Goa, Egna Cleetus, IAS, presided over a meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC), South Goa, to consider claims forwarded by the Sub-Divisional Level Committee of Ponda Taluka under the Forest Rights Act, 2006.
During the meeting, the Committee examined a total of 57 claims relating to Usgao village, Ponda Taluka and took them up for decision.
